Saumya Kohli is an alumni of Vastukala Academy and has professional experience of over 10 years in the field of architecture.She has worked with established Landscape and Interior Design firms in Delhi and have done several renowned design projects before coming into academics in 2017.She is involved in innovative teaching methodology and mentoring students in Design projects.She believes in making the process of education interesting and meaningful via practical knowledge.She also has been doing freelancing interior and landscape projects which helps her to share hands-on experience with her students.
 

Her research interests focus on issues of space, perception and experience.She has a keen interest in the Traditional Culture and Heritage of India as well as the application of cultural crafts in Interiors and Spatial Design and is interested in the cross-disciplinary interactions between culture, history and architecture.
